Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice
This notice supplements the Privacy Policy for wellness, emotional-state, pregnancy, postpartum, and related information that may be treated as consumer health data.
Effective June 11, 2026
Current prototype behavior
The current MomyLand prototype is designed to keep onboarding choices and assistant messages in your browser as described below. It does not currently sell consumer health data or operate a production health-data backend.
1. Categories of consumer health data
Depending on what you choose to enter, the prototype may handle:
- mental-wellness goals and emotional-state selections;
- pregnancy, postpartum, sleep, nutrition, fitness, parenting, or relationship interests;
- messages about mood, stress, anxiety, exhaustion, or support needs;
- non-urgent messages exchanged through the prototype doctor workspace;
- content preferences and recommendations that may imply a wellness interest; and
- technical data that could be linked to use of a wellness-focused service.
Please do not enter diagnoses, treatment records, medication details, genetic data, precise location, or identifying information about a child.
2. Sources
Consumer health data comes directly from your selections and messages, and from basic inferences needed to display a requested recommendation. In a deployed site, a hosting provider may generate standard technical and security logs.
3. Purposes for collection and use
We use consumer health data only as reasonably necessary to:
- provide the check-in, onboarding, assistant, and recommendation feature you request;
- remember your prototype preferences on your device;
- maintain the current browser session;
- demonstrate patient communication and consultation scheduling requested by the user;
- secure, debug, and operate the site; and
- comply with law or respond to your request.
The current prototype does not use consumer health data for advertising, data brokerage, insurance, employment, credit, housing, or other eligibility decisions.
4. Categories of recipients
MomyLand does not currently disclose browser-stored consumer health content to third parties. A hosting or security provider may process standard request logs when necessary to deliver a deployed site. Doctor workspace messages remain browser-local in this prototype and are not represented as a secure clinical messaging or electronic health record system. Future AI, analytics, payment, clinical, or communication vendors must not receive consumer health data until appropriate consent, contracts, security review, and policy updates are in place.
5. Sale and sharing
MomyLand does not sell consumer health data. It does not share consumer health data for behavioral advertising. If that practice ever changes, we will update this notice and obtain any authorization required by law before the change.
6. Storage and retention
Onboarding choices may remain in local storage until you clear the site's browser data. Dashboard assistant messages may remain in session storage until the browser session ends. Landing-page check-in content remains in page memory and normally clears on reload or close. MomyLand cannot retrieve or delete information that never left your device.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request confirmation, access, deletion, or withdrawal of consent relating to consumer health data. You may also appeal a denied request. Clear browser data to remove local prototype records, or email support@momyland.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity.
8. HIPAA status
This notice is not a HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices. The current MomyLand prototype is not represented as a HIPAA-covered service. Consumer health privacy laws may protect some wellness information even when HIPAA does not apply.
9. Contact and appeals
Send a request or appeal to support@momyland.comwith the subject “Consumer Health Data Request.” Before commercial launch, the operator's legal name and service address must be added to this notice.
